Pranjal's Digital Garden
Welcome to my digital garden — a living collection of notes, ideas, experiments, and learnings.
This is not a blog and not a portfolio.
It's a place where thoughts grow over time.
About Me
Hi, I'm Pranjal — a data engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, learning in public, and thinking deeply about technology.
I'm especially interested in:
- Data engineering and distributed systems
- Backend architecture
- Developer productivity
- Learning how things actually work under the hood
This garden reflects how I learn: messy at first, clearer over time.
What You'll Find Here
- Evergreen notes — concepts that evolve as I learn more
- Experiments — things I tried, broke, fixed, or abandoned
- Technical deep dives — systems, tools, and architecture notes
- Thinking out loud — rough ideas and half-formed thoughts
Some notes are polished. Many are not — and that's intentional.
Start Here
If you're new, these are good entry points:
- Data Engineering Fundamentals
- Backend System Design Notes
- Things I'm Learning Right Now
- Mistakes and Lessons Learned
Links grow as the garden grows.
How I Think About This Space
Notes are allowed to be unfinished. Clarity matters more than perfection. Writing helps me think, and learning rarely happens in a straight line.
I prune things occasionally, but nothing here is ever really frozen.
